Seminar Control engineering – Module 1
Principles of controlling hydraulic systems with practical exercises on the Hydraulic Trainer
Content of training course
In this seminar, you will learn the principles of regulating hydraulic systems in theory and in practice. During the theoretical principles we will teach you about the difference between the control and the regulation of hydraulic axes, as well as the opportunities for saving energy from hydraulic systems.
Practice exercises on the Basic Hydraulic Trainer, equipped with an energy-efficient, quiet servo pump and intelligent sensors, are seamlessly integrated into the respective knowledge areas and demonstrate what has been learned in the best way. You will learn in detail about the position and pressure regulation of hydraulic cylinders with proportional valves or servo pumps, the regulation strategies for driving servo pumps, as well as the advantages of Load Sensing Regulation. Furthermore, the energy efficiency of the various pressure supply strategies will be examined more closely.
Learning goal
You will understand the areas of application and the regulation strategies of a servo pump in the application of an hydraulic facility. You will be familiar with the principles of position or power regulation of an hydraulic cylinder and with Load Sensing Systems.
